The rights to screen the popular indie game were bought by Warner Bros. and hired Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg to produce the film. They all have experienced together in films such as Poltergeist, Run All Night, and Beetlejuice. Of course, the development of the film will be overseen by the game’s creator, Scott Cawthon.
